En plena temporada de premios en Hollywood se anuncian los nominados a los Oscar 2024. Ya se habían pronosticado algunas nominaciones, pero hubo otras que sorprendieron a la hora de ser anunciadas.
En la categoría de “Mejor película”, sí quedó “Barbie” con otras siete nominaciones más, “Oppenheimer” que acumuló 12 nominaciones aparte de esta, y “Killers of the Flower Moon” con otras nueve nominaciones más.
Entre los latinos nominados está la actriz America Ferrera por su actuación en “Barbie”. En la categoría “Mejor película internacional”, está “La sociedad de la nieve”, la película dirigida por Juan Antonio Bayona para Netflix, que ha sido doblemente nominada porque también obtuvo la nominación en la categoría “Mejor maquillaje y peluquería”. El mexicano Rodrigo Prieto fue nominado en la categoría de “Mejor dirección de fotografía”.
“Flamin Hot”, dirigida por Eva Longoria, obtuvo una nominación a mejor canción original por “The Fire Inside”, interpretada por Becky G.
